Italy meets USA…, and I guess it’s neither the first time…nor the last
Great updates: I arrived to NYC!
Yes, it seems unbelievable but I finally visited America. I must admit the cultural shock has happend… oh yes! Everything is so big and there is so much choice… I mean, in Italy when I used to go to a shop to get a sandwich or a salad for lunch, the choice for the things to drink would have been only between natural or sparkling water. Today I was completely stuck in front of the fridge of a restaurant, trying to figure out which vitaminic water would have better suited my needs. Lucky I wasy boss got me out from my ipnotic status, otherwise at this hour I could still be there trying to figure out what to buy. Oh, and then: the streets! It is strange to see so many yellow school buses and no, and I repeat i, no scooters at all. Only cars are on the streets, and for those of you who have ever been in Europe and especially in Itally, it is reknown scooters are far more than cars! In addition to this… I thought to be pretty good in english, and many people told me my spoken english is perfect, still I cannot understand… 40% of what people say! Really! And it’s terrible, because I kind of feel what they are referring to, but I am not able to dtinguish any specific verb or words! Bloody hell, it’s a nightmare!
Aside to this, there is my job; only today I think I had a first example of project management ando of what I am supposed to learn and to do during my internship period…not bad at all. They all are very kind with me and I hope that slowly I’ll let them know which kind of person they hired: a genius!
Ehi, I was just kidding. Ok, here it is late for me, it is actually 22:15pm and I am rather tired so…
my dearest readers, see you next time!
